If the cold weather continues, the icycles will grow longer and longer. This is just the beginning.
This is Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina from across Loch Dornie. Below freezing temperatures, sometimes hovering around zero, have allowed the lake to freeze. Visibility is low, but not non-existent. The forecast is for the snow to continue for several days, so more posts will follow.
